RBI Assistant recruitment 2022: The process of application for recruitment to the posts of assistants conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has started from today. Through this recruitment, there will be recruitment on 950 posts. RBI has also released the detailed notification of this recruitment. The link to apply has been activated on the official website of RBI www.rbi.org. The last date of application is 8 March 2022. The prelims exam will be conducted on March 26 and March 27.
To fill these posts, RBI will conduct a nationwide competitive examination. First of all there will be a preliminary exam. Successful candidates will have to appear in the main examination followed by the language proficiency test (LPT).
Eligibility
It is mandatory to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university with at least 50% marks. There is no 50 percent condition for OBC, SC and ST.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 Years, Maximum 28 Years. Age will be calculated from 1st February 2022. That is, the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02 February 1994 and not later than 01 February 2002. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC and ST and 3 years for OBC.
Pay Scale: Starting Basic Pay will be 20,700/- per month. After this the pay scale will be 20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) – 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 (20 years). And other allowances like DA, TA etc.

Selection Process
Candidates will have to go through three online examinations to get selected for appointment to these posts. preliminary examination,
Main Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Examination will be of one hour with 100 questions of 100 marks.
In these, 30 questions will be asked from English Language, 35 from Numerical Ability and 35 from Reasoning Ability.
The candidates who qualify the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the main examination.
In the main examination, 200 questions of 200 marks will be asked for which candidates will get 135 minutes.
In this, 40-40 questions will be asked from Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer.
There is a provision of negative marking in preliminary and main examination. One-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Mains and LPT exam pattern
Shortlisted candidates on the basis of performance in the main examination will have to appear in the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
– The LPT test will be in the local language spoken in the area concerned.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of successful online test, medical test and document verification.
